Stephen Stills is one of my all time favorite artists, and this live album caught him with a really good band and in top form. Always a pleasure to listen to, nice version of Four Days Gone will stay in your mind forever! I really recommend this to anybody that wants Stills in top form; nice concert feel to the whole album/5(34).

However, anyone who is a Stephen Stills fan should still buy this CD. Manassas was a great band & Stills was at the height of his powers as a songwriter & performer. This concert performance was recorded after the 1st Manassas album (Stills' best solo effort in my opinion) was recorded, but before it had been released/5(52).

CSN also introduced the world to “Bruce Palmer modal tuning” (low to high: E E E E B E), which Stills learned from the former Buffalo Springfield bassist and used in “Suite: Judy Blue Eyes,” as well as Déjà vu (CSN’s follow-up album with Neil Young) cuts like “4+20,” “Carry On” and “Word Game” from Stills.
